“I’m generally happy all the time, but I think it’s the small things in life which have made me the happiest. I’m not a merit ranker nor have won any awards but I’m obsessed with elephants - so whenever my friends or family travel abroad they get me tiny elephant souvenirs and I think that’s so much more valuable than an expensive gift. Apart from that I think I’ve been brought up in a home of luxury and comfort - so I’ve taken things for granted…but when I started working I got a massive reality check. I started working only because I had nothing else to do, but eventually it became a lot more than that.I began understanding the importance of money which I spent as and when required, the importance of time management and balance. For a while, I failed…I couldn’t take orders from my boss, I couldn’t grapple work and friends - but when I got that first pay cheque and spent the first rupee I earned by myself — nothing else compared. I finally understood the meaning of being independent and even though it gets difficult at times-- I'm not giving up."
