“I always wanted to do something different. After my Class 10 board exams, I wanted to learn embroidery. I was fascinated by needlework but my father wanted me to learn something ‘better’ such as computers. I didn’t get a chance to pursue something I really wanted to do.
When I was working for one of the Fortune 500 companies, I did not like the stringent working hours, especially after having a baby.
I started learning artwork when my daughter was three months old. I then taught the art work I had learnt to others because I had always enjoyed being a trainer. I decided to start teaching from home so that I could be around my daughter.
I never thought, even in my wildest dreams, that I would be associated with artwork for as long as I have been. I have become more creative than I was earlier. I have been able to convert waste products into pieces of art.
My dream is to make my company a platform for every woman to pursue her hobby, sell products or start teaching. This platform will help women stay productive regardless of their circumstances. Mothers who follow their hearts are generally happier and happy mothers raise healthy children. ”
