“I've always had a deep rooted love for animals and believe they deserve rights like us humans. More than anything, I feel like they're the ones who need us to raise our voices for them, because they can't stand up for themselves. You don't always have to make a change in a big way, but sometimes doing the small things right, goes a long way.

This one time I saw a man kicking a dog for fun on the road and stopped him. Insteading of yelling at him, I sat him down and explained to him about how he would feel if someone was hitting him and he couldn't even voice it. He apologized to me...even apologized to the dog and swore to never do it again. In my mind, that action of mine could potentially save other dogs from potential violence and that's what made me happy that day - to know that I made that small difference."
